I-J SURNAMES

Johnson, Nate

Nate Johnson, of Sweet Grass, was arrested recently by Sheriff Alsup on a charge of petit larceny, preferred by John Mars, of Sweet Grass.  When the case came up for trial before Justice E. A. Herber, Johnson was found guilty and sentenced to 25 days in jail.  He took an appeal to the district court whereupon he was again arrested on a charge of larceny, this time at the instance of Great Northern officials.  He was given a preliminary hearing and bound over to the district court.
