Robert Teesdale Report Card
Born March 12, 1892 in Rapid City, S.D., Robert journeyed as a young
five-year-old with his parents, Reuben and Elizabeth Teesdale. The
family settled near Bridger, MT. and by 1900 had an ample spread and
fashionable home. The aspiring Robert left the flock and by 1914 was
a business school student in Billings, MT. In the city, he wed Lovie
Seek in 1917. The following year, an epistle addressed by his mother
relayed to her son stationed in France, the woes and perils of the
Spanish Flu. The WW1 Veteran returned home to farm and continued his
civic duties serving as a member of the American Legion and terms on
the Bridger School board. The Teesdale’s had three sons, Robert,
Eugene, and Leonard; and two daughters, Mrs. Donald Wetherbee, and
Mrs. P.E. Overby. Robert, passed in 1960.
