Here's the threshing machine that separates the wheat from the chaff. You can see the straw piled in the background. As you can imagine the sparks from the steam engine's would make a dandy fire starter, the straw is very dry, so there is a long belt between the tractor and thresher. Still, occasionally a fire broke out.
