I am beginning a search for Pearl Inez Wilson. She left Montana for Lake Winnipeg 1860. Pearl was a cousin of one Captain Ray or Rae. He was killed at Fort Benton late 1850s. Thanks for any assistance. It would much appreciated.

Our Grandfather, Fred CASCADDEN and his wife Anna Matilda (TUCKER), moved from Detroit MI to Big Sandy Montana in 1915 and farmed, but after 6 years of bad crops, they left for Washington. Anna Matilda's family also followed; Issac Andrew TUCKER (he died in Big Sandy) and his wife Annie (GROOMBRIDGE) and their 13 other children (Arthur, Joseph, Gordon to name a few). Is there anyone else looking for these lines? Or who can help?

Looking for George Brown or any Brown in Ft. Benton. Brown was born in NY. His father and mother were David and Mary Brown from Newburgh and Brooklyn NY. Brown came to Ft. Benton and became ill. He married an Indian woman who nursed him back to health. Brown had two brothers one who is James David Brown who left NY in 1877 to go to Oregon. Sorry this is so vague but it's all I know.

I would like 1910 census location on Norman Cummings. I find him in 1920 census Chouteau Co. MT. with his Mother Caroline. He was 59 years old. Did he have a family? Norman died after 1939 his fathers Julius probate says. Father Julius died in Civil War, property put in probate 1939. Would like to find Cemetery record. Any info on him or his brother Julius. His brother Julius lived in Great Falls MT 1910. Any info on this family I would Appreciate. Thank you

Welcome any and all contributions of information pertaining to the families listed here. First family member in this tree arrived 1862 at Ft Benton on the Shreveport via the Mighty Muddy. That would be Henry POND. Soon to be added was the KIRKPATRICK/MANN clan to Bannack. Later VANCE'S landed at Glendale and POMEROY'S in the Big Hole. CALVERT'S came first to the Deer Lodge area then later homesteaded in middle Big Hole area. Any info by these sur-names would be welcomed. I'll determine if and how they might link. I have quite a lot of background on most of these families and will share with interested searchers.

Looking for information on Johan Axel PETERSON and Ingeborg (nee: NORUM) PETERSON,emigrating from Norway around 1905 to Halstad, MN then relocating possibly to Ft. Benton, MT around 1908. From Norway to MN to MT with sister Emelia, who married into RONNING family. Had son by name of George RONNING. Johan Axel and Ingeborg had three children, one in MN (Arthur) and two in MT (Milton, Alpha Irene). Divorced in year (?)and remarried to Thomas KIRKWOOD in 1915 (+/-).
