JOHN S. IMAN DEAD. WOODSIDE RESIDENT FOR 20 YEARS PASSED AWAY AT HIS HOME THIS MORNING.
    John Saul Iman, well-known Woodside rancher, died about 6 o'clock this morning at his home after a lingering illness. Mr. Iman was 70 years of age and a native of Illinois.
    He came to Montana 22 years ago, living in Butte and Missoula before settling at Woodside, where he has spent the past 20 years. He is survived by his wife and a son, R.O. Iman. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

LAST RITES WILL BE HELD FRIDA FOR MRS. IMAN WHO DIED DECEMBER 5.
    Services will be held at the Dowling Chapel in Hamilton Friday afternoon at two o'clock for Mrs. Wilhelmina Iman who died at the home of he son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Russel O. Iman, at Woodside Tuesday morning after a long period of ill health. Rev. C.J. Taber will officiate at eh rites and Jack Hawker will sing. Burial will be made in Riverview Cemetery west of Hamilton. Pallbearers will be: Thomas Dunbar, C.W. Park, E.F. Mills, C.B. Kenck, Rupert Hauf, and Fay O. Burrell.
    Mrs. Iman was born October 27, 1866 at Cambridge, Illinois. She had been a resident of the Woodside community for 33 years and was the widow of the late John S. Iman, former merchant and farmer of the Woodside district who died in 1931.
    Besides the son and daughter-in-law, the deceased is survived by a grandson, Jack, who is serving his country in the service, being currently stationed in the Admiralty Islands of the South Pacific.

JOSEPH ITEN, 69, DIES IN NEW YORK.
    Joseph Iten, 69, a Hamilton resident for 19 years until 1928, died at Conesus, New York, Saturday night, after a period of declining health, according to word received by his sister, Mrs. Emil LaChambre. Funeral services are planned for later this week at Conesus.
    Mr. Iten and his brother, Chris, came to the valley from Canton Zug, Switzerland, in 1907, and within a few years their partnership in the Daly property as stockmen specializing in purebred dairy stock and fine draft horses, had gained wide prominence. Chris, who was a stockman here until 1945, died while on a visit to Switzerland in 1948.
    Mr. Iten and his family left here because of his health about 1928 and settled in Conesus, although not living there all the time. His wife and son, Joseph Jr, 24 preceded him in death.
    Survivors include a daughter, Mary Iten, and son, Leo, Conesus; cousin, Joseph Iten, Hamilton, and several nieces and nephews.
