In my mother's words..."By 1905, Frank had had a deeper well dug and got good water. He poured a concrete foundation for their house near the well. They soon had their house partially built so they could move in. In the same year, a twice a week mail delivery came from Cascade. Before this, many families had mail waiting in the Cascade Post Office for weeks before it was picked up."
