| The one-room school was open from 1915 to about 1962*, and is located approximately 10 miles south of
Ryegate, Montana, in the Big Coulee. *Richard Zinne, formerly of the Big Coulee, attended school there from 1956 to 1960/61.His cousins were students at Pine Island for at least another year after that. |
